The perfect Bone China piece for the romantic soul

Who said men can’t have romantic fantasies? This plate below depicts an early Victorian era couple, possibly engaged in some witty banter. It was made in England and whilst I am not sure how old this plate is, the company that made this plate i.e. Adams (a family group) was sold to a bigger company in 1966 so I’m assuming that it’s at least half a century old.

I am pairing up this Russian caravan tea with Grapefruit and Kiwis. Russian caravan teas are a mix of Lapsang Souchong tea, Keemum tea and Oolong tea. Lapsang Souchong alone was too strong for the Russian travelers hence, they ended up mixing it with the other Chinese teas.

Best Regards,

The Earl of Lavenders.
